Sciensano are currently seeking a new leader for our Viral Diseases Service.

This key service integrates various national reference centers, and conducts essential surveillance and research within the framework of public health and the One Health approach.

PhD Avian Virology and Epidemiological Modeling - PhD Researcher, Sciensano, Brussels

The successful candidate will work on the "Influe-Air project" concerning the airborne transmission of highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) viruses. The specific aims of the project are to determine the stability of HPAI viruses as a function of environmental factors.

Two Computational Biologists, Masters and Post Doc level – GIGA/FARAH – University of Liege

A consortium of immunology research groups of the FARAH and the GIGA at Liège University are looking for a computational biologist at Master's and Post Doc level . The consortium is involved in the study of lung immune responses in preclinical models of inflammatory diseases, exposure to viruses and/or environmental pollutants.
